Launched in 2017, Startup Booster is the leading startup competition dedicated to composites and advanced materials. Each year, 20 finalists selected among more than 150 applicants pitch breakthrough technologies and business development plans to top experts and investors at JEC World, with three winners getting an unprecedented visibility in the industry and accelerating their venture. 

Startup Booster is supported by a high-level jury of industry, investment and innovation experts, alongside leading corporate and ecosystem partners. Since its inception, it has become the undisputed reference competition for emerging innovators in composites and advanced materials.

Each March at JEC World in Paris, the Innovation Planets present JEC's annual official selection of the most advanced composites parts and finished products across every relevant sector, a curated snapshot of where the industry is today, where it's heading and showcasing what the composites industry is offering to the various applications sectors of composite materials. Beyond the show, the selected innovations are also featured in JEC's innovation reports, extending their visibility year-round through our media and digital platforms.
